Fouded in 2009, by Denise Cicchella and Stuart Gardner. Auspicium provides construction audit, project audit, IT audit, fraud investigation, risk management, coaching and training. Our leaders are risk management expeprts with over 50 years of combined experience in auditing and related fields. Our experience spans financial services, mining, energy, healthcare, transportation, publishing, central and local government, education, and retail operations. Our mission is to provide high quality training and consulting services in the fields of audit, security, open source intelligence, and project management.
Denise Cicchella is a regular presenter at professional conferences and also founded the NewYork & New Jersey NACA. Stuart Gardner holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Computer Science). Combining our experiences togetther, we place a high value on delivering high quality training materials with actionable content. Our ratings on My-CPE and at conferences ranks consistently high. Denise is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, and Certified Construction Auditor. She has been auditing special projects and construction projects for over 20 years. She has worked in many different industries such as: healthcare, financial services, mining, university and higher education, utilities and retail. She has helped her clients recover significant sums through her work. She continues to help other either through control reviews, risks identification, operational audits, or teaching them what they need to perform their own construction audit.
Dense is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, Certified Construction Auditor, Project Management Professional and Fellow of the Life Management Institute. She holds an MBA in International Business from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a BBA in Accounting from Loyola University.
Denise is an experienced trainer and enjoys teaching professionals and creating long lasting relationships with her clients. She enjoys giving them the tools that will help them add value to their organizations. She often speaks at Local and International Conferences for the National Association of Construction Auditors, Associated of Certified Fraud Examiners, Institute of Internal Auditors, Association of College and University Auditors, and other private clients.
Denise has worked with the FBI, Department of Justice, Legal department, and law enforcement to assist in the prosecution of fraud and the civil recovery of overpayments to vendors.
Denise is the author of Construction Audit: Overview, Monitoring and Auditing and Construction Audit – Building a Solid Foundation. She is also the co-author and technical editor of Effective Auditing for Corporates and a co-author for Essentials of Construction Management. Aside from these she has authored numerous white papers for others.

Stuart Gardner
CISSP, CISA, CCA, PGCE
Stuart qualified as an accountant with the National Audit Office and worked with multiple governemnt departments including a secondment with the Ministry of Defense. He rapidly specialized in information security and has gained CISSP and CISA certifications. He has worked in a variety of industries including financial services and publishing. He is a subject matter expert on social engineering, OSint, privacy and contingency planning. Stuart has also gained a post graduate certificate in education and lectures in the field of computer science.
